Filling Loops

A filling loop is used to pressurise a sealed heating system. Some of the newer boilers have filling loops built into the pipework or valves of the boiler whilst on others you need to install an external filling loop onto the pipework. Filling loops are basically an isolation valve and a double check check valve to prevent contamination of drinking water whilst allowing you to fill the system with water.
